CenSin Posted October 29, 2021 Share #7428 Posted October 29, 2021 Just like with all the new subway lines they build, they don't bother with redundancy. Anyone running critical infrastructure should be building in redundancy—hot spares for storage devices, a redundant cluster of computers, backup connections, and all of it not found under one toolshed/cable conduit.

T to Dyre Avenue Posted November 22, 2021 Share #7443 Posted November 22, 2021 What a huge mess. A real triple whammy (signal problem in 60th, disruptive passenger at Times Sq, person struck by train on Manny B). Yet somehow I was able to get a train at Canal St just after 5 pm today, with another one just two minutes behind (according to the countdown clock, anyway). But the clock said the following trains, an and another , were 15 and 19 minutes away.
