MHV9218 Posted March 5, 2017 Share #2354 Posted March 5, 2017 Did anybody post about 3829 earlier? I think people assumed that had been repainted, but that bus was in its original 2008 paint until just recently. Saw it in new paint today.

danielhg121 Posted March 7, 2017 Share #2360 Posted March 7, 2017 I think 4100 had a second repaint. And 4066 has a clean one. But why second repaints tho? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app

Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app These buses are approaching 8 years old. I'm guessing every 4 years for a fresh repaint.

danielhg121 Posted March 7, 2017 Share #2363 Posted March 7, 2017 But a lot of the buses already got there first repaint not too long ago and now we're giving second repaints already. Just why??? Future ENY OP Posted March 8, 2017 Share #2364 Posted March 8, 2017 Add 4556 to the list of second repaints That bus also has a nice 30x215 billboard on the exterior side. Very rare you see those in Brooklyn Division buses. But when it's there it's a good attraction.

Very interesting. Could only guess that they got rid of the Manhattan ads to which the Brooklyn Division hardly gets. 6626 also came from Manhattanville or East New York or Fresh Pond? And does that have any exterior roof ads ready for repaint.
