If I'm not mistaken, that would be the first 2009 from the original MTA Bus allotment to be retired.

It definitely is a first, first MTA Bus unit retired in the system. While in NYCT, 4679 is the said retired unit 2010 above 4656.

 - 4561: ex Grand Av to scrap

- 1212: Gun Hill and - 1249: Kingsbridge to scrap

* These units were spotted at Eastchester scrapyard without a farebox while passing thru the New England Thruway at Conner St behind the fence where those buses are stored earlier today.

Other notice: 5476 was also inside the scrap lot but on hold with the RTS 8971 and Diesel Converted Hybrid 3563.

Notice: 1249 is exchange unit for scrap for 3274 back in-service

3896: also MHV to ECH scrap. At the retired lot now. Before the tow, the farebox was moved to the recent delivered Nova HEV unit.

3823 to scrap.

3776, listed in the update is inside the lot to clarify in observation. 3769 is also inside as well.

More add-on units to ECH scrap lot. 3823 is a replacement for 3446

Wasn't that flood like over a year ago?

September 1st, 2021 was when Ida hit. A lot of Castleton units were damaged by floods and it took a few months for most of the units to be repaired, save for two Orions and four Prevosts (from Castleton) which are still out of service.
