Here are the planned assignments for the XD60s:

5364-5391 (28) JFK

5392-5438 (47) Baisley Park

It's time! 7440, 7451 are in delivery and will be at LG tomorrow. Other numbers to be confirmed. 5364 is en route to the city. 5365, 5366, and 5367 will follow. All 4 60 footers are pilots, and delivery will be super accelerated to JFK and BP just as the new 40 footers were.

So BP will accept the artics after all despite the contract issue?

I bet the tentative route assignments are the Q6, 10, 60, 111, 113 and 114

The Xcelsiors to JFK might only be for the Q10 as there's a good chance that the XD60's would displace the D60's back to transit.

That depends, BP does need a decent spare factor of buses.

Here's a update on the XD40 there are 12 sitting in JFK long term parking lot with 2 C40LF

BP can use the XD60 on any route exept the Q112, but they're mainly for the Q113 and 114

A lot of you repeatedly ask questions to which the answers can be found on the first page of the MTA Bus Operations Fleet and Depots thread. Delivery info and assignments have been posted and updated there for 4 years now.... Please refer to that page before asking about what buses are going where and what the fleet numbers are... If you do not find what you are looking for, then post your question elsewhere... Some of you have been members here way too long to not steady know this.

 

@Q43LTD - as of right now these are the assignments and as always they are subject to change... I am being told the buses may go to the Woodhaven SBS in liew of Baisley Park. I am still awaiting confirmation.

An XD60 on the Q64, I gotta see this one day

It is possible however probably not going to happen. In the AM rush hour two buses run back to back and they are both crowded by the time they reach Forest Hills 71st Ave. I believe the XD40's are strictly for the Q111 and Q113/Q114. It would be smart during the AM rush hour for the Q64to run artic buses but that would also mean more dwell time at stops. Edited June 29, 2015 by NewFlyer 230
