Especially considering that they seem to avoid using Orion hybrids on the B15. Orions were common on the B15 until recently, its seems like its always 100% New Flyer these past couple of months. Something happened, it was taken OOS along 98th and went back to the depot.

The reason for the route being almost 100 percent New Flyer might have something to do with back then some time ago when a guy smashed the drivers window on a bus. They kept buses with cameras on the route for this reason and it seems to this day it continues.
Iron Valiant Posted November 10, 2020 Share #32480 Posted November 10, 2020 Some buses haven’t been in service for some time now: 324, 4070, 7100, 7150, 7540, 8059 IIRC, 324, 7540, and 8059 were last at Eastchester Depot. Have they returned to their respective depots? Is 7150 still at Flatbush Depot? Or did it get transferred to East New York Depot with 7137-7139?

One of each bus model is being stored at Eastchester for training purposes.
trainfan22 Posted November 11, 2020 Share #32485 Posted November 11, 2020 A couple weeks ago I caught the 2014-2015 Prevost bus with the screens, they weren't on though... IIRC, this is the only express bus (Other than 023) with next stop screens.

It's hard for me to tell from a 2-dimensional photo, but do you think people are going to whack their heads on the screens when they stand up? They looks pretty big from the photos!
Lawrence St Posted November 11, 2020 Share #32488 Posted November 11, 2020 Does anyone have a link to that website where you can see when the last time a bus was in service?

I have yet to ride them, but they are not in every row, so you can definitely avoid them if you're concerned about banging your head.

I’m going to move the conversation here since the moves thread gotta be freed up for moves only. However, to answer question. Yes, 9510 does have ENY decals. Also, it’s been working on the B12, B15, Q24, Q56 thus far.
Cait Sith Posted November 11, 2020 Share #32493 Posted November 11, 2020 (edited) Well, looks like Nova isn't exempt from having problems. 22 is currently having a ton of electrical problems and won't start. It was last in service 6 days ago. This is not a "lolkbscreweditup" thing. Edited November 11, 2020 by Cait Sith

The last time it was out was on the 5th, as it road called at Amsterdam & 135th.

aemoreira81 Posted November 12, 2020 Share #32500 Posted November 12, 2020 I have to wonder why the MTA went for plug-style rear doors on 9510. Such was typical on the Rapid Transit Series, but the MTA eschewed that option. (NJ Transit went for it.) It would be the first time the MTA went for that on a full-scale production series order (the only other buses in the fleet with that are buses 16-20, the five Proterras).
