Due to a smoke condition at Lexington Av, both directions there is no (N) and (Q) train service between 57 St-7 Av and Ditmars Blvd.

(R) trains are running on the (F) line in both directions between 36 St (Qns) and 57 St.

Allow additional travel time.

Yikes.

Due to a police investigation at Utica Av, southbound (3) trains are running express from Atlantic Av to Utica Av and some southbound (4) trains are rerouted to New Lots Av.

In addition, southbound (3) and (4) trains are bypassing Utica Av.

Expect delays in (3) and (4) train service in both directions at this time.

Allow additional travel time.

A woman fainted and fell onto the tracks at Utica Ave and got hit and killed by a train

Or you know, people could stop standing so close to the platform edge. Just saying.

63rd and Lex. No choice on that platform. Not where the incident happened, but with construction, that's the narrowest platform i've ever been on. You don't really know how close this woman was standing to the edge.

I take it you don't ride the Brighton line much. There are much narrower platforms..

People: visit Newkirk Plaza and walk to the southern end of the south-bound platform. I kid you not that when the (Q) and (B) are both platformed with their doors opened, you could make a leap from inside one train to the other.

Not from Dyckman, no.

Looking at a picture of it, there's much more room to stand back than at 63rd and Lex. Canal Street on the (N) and (R) line is pretty narrow, too.

Really bad timing for the rush hour commuters. Why couldn't they run the (7) from Times Square-61st woodside. As for the flushing section could they send a replacement bus if this continues from 61st- Flushing
