R46 (R)  heading SB out of Jamaica Yard and towards 71 Av.

Right before entering Kew Gardens there is a hole in the floor going NB that reveals the location of the yard leads.

So far, all Siemens R160s from 9003-9012, 9018-9102, and some of the 89xx cars are still rolling. 8913-8917/9003-9007 was on the (N) yesterday in the AM rush (not a layup train).

Yep, just boarded car 9005 at 34th on the (N) now. But 9003-07 were hooked up to 9078-82 today.

And it’s still on the (R) today. I’m riding in car 5735 as I type this. Guess the R46 era on Queens Blvd is not quite over yet. But we’re getting there, if ever so slowly.

Meanwhile, on the southbound side at Prince, I saw a Siemens R160 (R) lurch into the station, then come to a full stop. Guess the (R) crews are still getting used to the braking/acceleration on the Siemens cars.

8913-8917 was actually attached to 9027-9023. My mistake. And there were FOUR R160s on the (W) today, and who knows how many else on the (N)

It switched lines then

Also R46 5802-5 and 5500-3 passed me on Broadway Express going NB and Not In Service. This train was in (R) service yesterday and has the (R) bullet displayed on the rear.

5500-3 is not a set, it's either 5498-5501 or 5502-5 you saw connected to 5802-5
