Lance Posted August 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2017 RedTube VP Alex Taylor asked Gov. Andrew Cuomo if he’d be up for allowing RedTube to sponsor a subway station as part of the governor's new corporate sponsorship program announced in July. The governor's idea is hailed as a first-of-its-kind public-private Subway Partnership Program in New York, in which private corporations can invest in a fund to support the New York City subway system as well as an Adopt-A-Station program. The money would go toward improvements to the beleaguered New York City subway system. Shortly after the governor’s announcement, RedTube submitted a request to sponsor a subway station, decorate the station and even a few trains. danielhg121 Posted August 5, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 5, 2017 Support it to the greatest extent. This is hilarious. Kinda want it to happen, but its prob. not gonna go thru due to the fact if a kid asks their parents what Redtube is? RES2773 Posted August 5, 2017 Share #3 Posted August 5, 2017 While I have no issue with this, it *would* lead to some awkward situations... No way lol. Fun thought though. Imagine if this actually goes through. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lance Posted August 5, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted August 5, 2017 Yep. Can't see this going anywhere because the moral guardians will have a collective heart attack. Children can see TnA and gratuitous violence on practically any program on television nowadays, but the insinuation of porn will corrupt little Timmy and little Susie for life. Parents would have to handle all those difficult questions. Can't have that, now can we? The 13 year old in me also finds this hilarious, if not for anything else, the potential for puns. P3F Posted August 5, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 5, 2017 All I really care about is that they don't change the station's tiles. Although, it would be quite funny if a porn site does actually end up sponsoring a subway station.

bobtehpanda Posted August 5, 2017 Share #10 Posted August 5, 2017 This is like how Pornhub always tries to buy a Super Bowl spot and gets denied. It's a publicity stunt, not much else.

Porter Posted August 6, 2017 Share #22 Posted August 6, 2017 Kinda want it to happen, but its prob. not gonna go thru due to the fact if a kid asks their parents what Redtube is? The parent would probably (quite understandably) say "I don't know" and it would end there. My parents certainly wouldn't know what the hell RedTube is; it's not obvious at all.
