I think aemoreira81 is correct, However, I do see see the FLA 9300s, 9600s or 5000s going to JAM instead of ENY. Reason why? ENY is losing the B-7 to FP therefore ENY will need less buses. (1996 Novas) LGA is about to recieve 3 new local lines. The 9300s or what ever JAM gets will push the 1996 Novas to MTA Bus. Yeah I see ENY and JAMs 1996 Novas LGA bound. Also, maybe "some" of JFKs RTSs as well to LGA. This is going to get REAL interesting!!! *** As always things can change so pleasse DO NOT quote me on this.***

Something tells me that 5000's are staying at FB. 9300's/9600's likely to be moved.. (Remember FB is getting 40-45 LFSA's *I think*, could possibly be more in the near future) That would be great to catch both 5822 and 5827 in service in the near future.

In other bus move: 3616 now at BP

hem, I dunno. Not because I like the 9600s that much, but I just don't see them being moved. If anything, I could probably see the 5000s moved so the older RTSs are around to balance out the age of the novas.

8039 LFS is at Flatbush from QV. Not in service at the moment..

I see the 5000's going to JAM from FLA... 9600's to QV from FLA.... ENY and JAM 96 Novas to MTA Bus IMO

Lol, don't get that far ahead. Yes RTSs will be displaced, but it won't be that drastic.

An LFS at Flatbush? That doesn't sound good...

huh? Maybe it's to get the drivers used to a similar, but shorter bus before working on the artics? Edited by Grand Concourse

Of course you don't. You don't see why having 4-5 types of local buses as being an issue for the depot. It's why UP and QV swapped buses to consolidate their buses and lose one type of bus. Ideally SI should at least give up either the Novas or XD40s and have a total of 60 3gs. Edited by Grand Concourse

Seems like LGA is losing most of their Orion VII 2006-2007 Hybrids to BP and JFK in return for RTS's. LGA is getting over half of the 190 overhauled RTS's from 1996. But I have a feeling that JA is going to lose their 1996's to LGA. Is there a reason LGA is getting so many RTS's? When the next MTA bus order comes in I only see ECH and LGA getting buses. Now if JFK and BP get Artics those hybrids may go back to LGA to replace the RTS's.

Good, they should take away all their newer buses and give them EOL buses until they can get their act together.

That's where your wrong because JFK has the same problems with maintaince. Have you ever rode any JFK routes? You will noticed that a lot of buses have been side swiped and the buses are very dirty and loud. A Orion VII NG from JA is cleaner and the announcements work. Go to LGA or JFK and the buses make strange noises the string or tape is broken, the buses are dirty, smelly and have lots of stains and the announcements don't work.

It's ashame because these buses are still young and sound worse than RTS's.
