Lil 57 Posted April 28, 2019 Share #6187 Posted April 28, 2019 Service Change trains have service changes and delays because a train's brakes were activated at 72 St. There is no service in either direction between 57 St/7 Av and 96 St. For service to stations between 57 St/7 Av and 96 St, consider using M31 bus service; See a station agent to receive a courtesy pass for continuing service. Expect delays in both directions on the line south of 57 St/7 Av. Having the run to 145 if 96th/2nd is unavailable would make sense and the should have a contingency plan for that OR have the go to 168 with the and terminate there in that scenario. First time I have ever seen my old bus route (M31) ever said for alternative service. Used to use that in the days before it was extended to the west side (used to terminate at 59th/Lex).
