jon2305 Posted February 24, 2016 Share #6230 Posted February 24, 2016 That should be fun No RFW fun but it is what it is. It's only the beginning, they still have to re-arrange the rest of the 19xx singles. Also on R188 note, 7511-7520 was seen testing yesterday on the .

Around the Horn Posted February 24, 2016 Share #6232 Posted February 24, 2016 IIRC 1916-1920 is a hodgepodge of Corona, Westchester and 240th all in one set so that should be interesting.

I heard there's other plans with that consist as well as the other singles.
Tech And Transit Posted February 27, 2016 Share #6236 Posted February 27, 2016 They have started to restore the old program, at least on one set (7481-7926-7490), here are some videos:
S78 via Hylan Posted February 27, 2016 Share #6237 Posted February 27, 2016 Now if only they would restore the older programs for the other IRT lines.

Tech And Transit Posted February 27, 2016 Share #6241 Posted February 27, 2016 Ok, so this has gotten weird. I saw 7511-7515 coupled with 7526-7930-7530 testing today. The order of the train was 7515-7511|7530-7930-7526. I saw 7521-7525 in the yard alone in a 5 car set. I did not see 7516-7929-7520 anywhere. jon2305 Posted February 28, 2016 Share #6242 Posted February 28, 2016 I think 7516-7929-7520 is probably in the Corona facility barn being checked on. We are reaching the finish line on this project. Only just a few more R142As currently serving the are scheduled for conversion I believe, then it's a wrap.

Calvin Posted March 1, 2016 Share #6247 Posted March 1, 2016 I don't think he meant that the set he caught was the only one remaining in Corona. that's yesterday on a Sunday. Usually on Weekends, 95% of the trains would be 188 class

Could have sworn that I saw 7860-7865 in service two weeks ago. Also one of the converts is testing what I would assume to be CBTC too. Let me just find where I wrote the number... Its 7271-7905-7280. Edited March 2, 2016 by Around the Horn
