P3F Posted March 22, 2016 Share #6283 Posted March 22, 2016 The R62As are being moved solely due to arrivals of the R188s, so it is, in fact, relevant.
jon2305 Posted March 22, 2016 Share #6284 Posted March 22, 2016 The project is also in it's final stages as only very few R142A cars left from Westchester, are yet to leave to Kawasaki very soon. (R142A 7581-7590 10-car) should be the final one, anything over stays the same.
r142a7436 Posted March 23, 2016 Share #6285 Posted March 23, 2016 7586-90 is the only set that has to be sent off, and its days on the are almost over. Give it a couple days
Daniel The Cool Posted March 25, 2016 Share #6286 Posted March 25, 2016 (edited) Please be reminded that this is the R188 thread... We were told last year or so that the R62As being transferred to Westchester discussion was allowed in this thread since it kinda relates to the R188s. Tech And Transit Posted March 28, 2016 Share #6289 Posted March 28, 2016 7555 is at Kawaski. That car has been at Kawasaki for awhile now... 7586-90, the last converted set should be sent there soon if they are not there already. 7555 should be back on MTA property within the next month or two.

Tech And Transit Posted March 30, 2016 Share #6300 Posted March 30, 2016 That was fast... I rode the on Good Friday and none of the trains had them. IIRC, 7881 and 7930 had the stickers before then. However, those are the only two. There may be updates soon, I heard the had the new announcements installed when the station announcement was updated at Briarwood-Van Wyck to say "Briarwood" only. Yeah, the programs should be updated soon enough. Maybe they will put the old destinations onto the signs again. Of course, when 7926 was updated the last time, we thought they'd do that and they didn't.
