1911-1915 and 1916-1920 are all on the (6). I'm not sure whether they're linked as five cars, but they are ordered consecutively. I can confirm 1916 was converted to a full cab, and I assume 1911/1915 and 1920 were as well. 1918 is an interesting car with original stickers, an R62 side box, and no LEDs--will be interesting to see on the Pelham line.

2241-2245 are also on the (6).

1911-1915 was on the (6) for like a week or 2.

There's 4-5 sets left of R62As on the (7) and from what I'm hearing (Don't quote me on this), they're waiting for the last converters to go in service so they can move those remaining R62As off the (7) all at once. I will say gave it next week (2 weeks tops) since someone has said on here that the last cars has been at Kawasaki for awhile.

I know, but I don't think 1916-1920 has been there that long. I'm curious why the (6) is still taking on 240th cars at this point, but there will definitely be quite a shakeup once all the R62As are gone from the (7).

1916-1920 was there for a few weeks. I rode it on the (6) on the first day of March (Wasn't expecting it).

Interesting, didn't see that reported. That makes all of 1911-1925 then.

I can confirm 1920 and 1925 as full cabs. Saw them Saturday.

And because of this theirs two 10-car R62s from the (3) currently on the (1).  1406-1410/1456-1460  1351-1355/1541-1545. I'm not sure if 1431-1438 is also their as well.

That is correct. 1911-1920 are in order but different color sticker box on the bottom number.

And 2241-45 was on the (6) today as I came across it at Brooklyn Bridge today.

1431-1434/1438 is on the (1), so 20 R62s are at 240 St.

*I'm not sure if 1541-1545 on the (1) though, I think it's still on the (3)

Just because those R62As from the (1) are there doesn't mean they're permanant to the (6), their just loaned to make up for service on the (6). Same thing with Livonia's R62s (3) on the (1). They haven't even been equipped with those LED lights in the sign box. The (6) has been running short on cars it seems and with the line's service demand during the PM rush it needs any cars they can get to cover for rush hours.

  • 2 weeks later...

There's about 4 sets in service with 5 in total as of now.

Also, 7551-7560 with 7933 are moved to Corona .

Damn, 7551-7555 were the set with historic strip maps. One car had 1990s originals, another car had 2008 era maps, and another pre-2014 maps.

One of the 7600's has strip maps like that too...

Don't think that car has the full original though. One of them actually has the 1999 service pattern with the "Downtown only" had Broadway-Lafayette covered up, funnily enough. Just checked my records though: 7550 was actually the car with the fully original strip map. Can't remember which set had the old strips all together now.
