i agree i ride them everyday....the animals of staten island tear those buses up im a everyday s52 s53 rider...its crazyy...

 

there still good body wise like engines and tech...but apperance...broken pull cords...garbage...etc

 

 

Yep, its mostly appearance. They are only "beat up" due to the passengers and this happens in all 3 boroughs.

 

When it comes to the exteriors though, they look pretty damn good. I honestly hope Staten Island keeps their share of buses, but we'll have to wait and see...

Lets hope that CAS buses come in as quickly as the Queens Village buses. Those xd40 ride sweet.

Has MJQ's 2nd part of their order start coming in yet. If time serves me correct if MJQ get in all their buses

There may be a break in between for the Gun Hill and FB batches come in.

 

UP UPDATE: 4826 in house at UP. Spotted on Nostrand/Glenwood this AM with decals. (B6).

Wait so QV is only getting 89 LFS's because of 8017 catching fire and being out of service right?

 

They are fixing 8017 , well theyre supposed to.

 

Lets wait and see what actually happens, it hasn't been set in stone as to if Staten Island is losing their buses yet....
