Turbo19 Posted September 9, 2013 Share #9052 Posted September 9, 2013 Hypocrite how?? Well only a true Italian would blame blight, crime, etc. in Brooklyn due to the influx of other Latinos. Wouldn't want to put down your own. Quite honestly I don't blame you, but then again...

Grand Concourse Posted September 10, 2013 Share #9057 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) Spotted like 3 artics on the Q35 in a 20+min time frame. 1013, 1015?, and 1026 (orange led). I was wondering if the june one was it, but wow, didn't really expect 3 all at once (each spaced apart with a 40' bus). Is things that bad over at FR? I just missed getting on one as I saw an artic make a turn at Av H while on the B41. Edited September 11, 2013 by Grand Concourse
Joel Up Front Posted September 11, 2013 Share #9060 Posted September 11, 2013 Why do all of the lights on a bus turn off when the engine is started?
-CT1660- Posted September 11, 2013 Share #9061 Posted September 11, 2013 Why do all of the lights on a bus turn off when the engine is started? Buses equipped with an electric starter motor tend to require a lot of power to be able to crank up the engine. The same is true with most cars (as some will just dim)
MTA Bus Posted September 11, 2013 Share #9062 Posted September 11, 2013 Yesterday, I finally rode the B32 from LIC to Willamsburg (got 9431). The driver was hauling ass to Willamsburg. We got there in like 20 minutes. Then, from the corner of my eye, I see 6097 on the B60. I Thought that I could make the transfer in time, but before the B32 pulled into the terminal, the bus pulled off. So, I literally ran to the next bus stop so I could catch the bus. Luckly, I caught it and I rode it home.

MHV9218 Posted September 12, 2013 Share #9072 Posted September 12, 2013 Observation 1: 3866 is a real runner, got back from Zerega, definitely the fastest acid battery NG I've ever been on. Observation 2: Praise god that the OG I'm on is overheating in the back here, helping to dry me off a little from that huge thunderstorm.

B36 Via Ave U Posted September 12, 2013 Share #9075 Posted September 12, 2013 I miss the screeching noise that the old C40s used to make sometimes when pulling out of a bus stop. You and me both man, it won't be the same espcially in southern Brooklyn when they used to flood routes like the B68 or B9. The new ones are ok but very dull. And do u know if the last 4 have been retired or not?
