Has anyone ridden all the NYC Bus routes,

B1-B103

Q1-Q113

M1-116

Bx1-Bx55

S40-S98

and all the express routes

X1-X68

BM1-BM5

QM1-QM25

BxM1-BxM28

I am originally from South Brooklyn (Sheepshead Bay), so I've rode many of the local lines in Brooklyn and all of the MTA Express Buses except the BM5 (BM1 - BM4, X27/X28).

I've rode some of the local lines on Staten Island, but since I use the express bus mainly I've rode most of those lines (X1, X2, X10/X11, X12/X42, X13/X14, X15, X16, X17C/X17J, X30).

In Queens I've rode the QM1A a few times and the X64 or X68 once.

In the Bronx I've rode the BXM10 a few times.

In Manhattan I've rode the X25 and many of the local lines.

So I have a pretty good idea of the transit situation in three of the five boroughs, especially the express bus service.

This is going to be shocking to most of you but I've never set foot on an express bus of any kind -- MTA Bus or NYCT. No way I'm paying $5.50 for a BUS! I've always just taken the subway or (in the case of Staten Island) the ferry instead. Closest I've come is when West Side used to run some of the coach seat RTSes few years back...

I've probably ridden every route in Manhattan and after that I'd say Brooklyn -- I remember the B35 very well, but it's been a while.

Very few routes in the Bronx, and fewer in Queens.

Short answer: NO! B)

Same here.

I've only ridden 2 Manhattan bus routes, no Brooklyn, Staten Island, or Bronx routes. No Western Queens routes. 1 LI Bus route. Only East Queens for the most part.

And I would hope no one has ridden every bus route in NYC, that'd be insane.

Mostly Queens routes such as:

Q1, Q3, Q5, Q6, Q9, Q17, Q20A, Q24, Q25, Q27, Q30, Q31, Q34, Q40, Q46, Q54/56, Q60, Q76, Q83, Q84 & Q85

Red= Sometimes/once in a while

Green= Daily/Most of the Time

Yellow= Barely/Once (Highlight if you can't see)

Gray= Used to

However I am working on getting used to Manhattan routes such as the M20 & M42 plus more.

Overall only a Quarter's worth of (MTA)'s routes in the NYC.

I can't even imagine having rode every single bus line in New York City. :eek:

I don't think anyone has or anyone will for that matter.

before the june cuts, I've been on every route at least once... the current routes at that time being, that is....

it's one of the main reasons I started venturing out to LIB/SCT territory... then Bee-Line territory.. then (parts of) CT, then rockland county... now I'm checkin out NJ's bus system.... next year, I plan on doing more of CT; namely bridgeport, new haven, and maybe even hartford.... been thinkin about SEPTA too...

but back to the original point....

of course, that's not counting the old/historical routes that pre-existed in the early 80's and before....

When I worked for TA, I rode most of the local buses, even if just once to see what is around.

Some years ago, someone was moving and I bought 2 express bus metrocards for $25 apiece and rode around many of the X buses during those 2 weeks including those 1 trippers, QM23, QM22,Q32, as well as the X25 and others.

Long story short: No

I've also never ridden an express bus. I admit, I'm rather turned off by the higher price. The x-bus that stops closest to me is the BM2 at Triangle Junction, and to catch it [in Manhattan] I'd have to go really out of my way. But I'll ride one some day. The buses I've ridden [newest are in green, the ones I've ridden end to end are asterisks]:

The Bronx: Bx1LTD, Bx2LTD*, Bx7, Bx12SBS*, Bx15, Bx19, Bx21, Bx22, Bx23, Bx28, Bx29*, Bx33, Bx41LTD*, Bx55LTD*

Brooklyn: - B1, B3, B4, B6 + B6LTD, B8, B9, B12, B15, B23, B25, B35 + B35LTD, B37, B41 + B41LTD, B42*, B44 + B44LTD, B46 + B46LTD, B49, B57, B60, B68, B70, B75*, B82, B83*, B103LTD, Q35 [so far only in Brooklyn]

Manhattan: - M1LTD*, M2LTD, M5 (on a detour) + M5LTD, M14A + M14D, M15 + M15LTD + M15SBS*, M20, M27, M34, M35*, M86, M100, M101LTD, M116*

Queens: - Q50LTD*

Staten Island: - S62, S93LTD*

Other: - QBx1*

Long Island: - N33*

City of Long Beach: - West End

Note: - I think I've ridden more buses than I can remember, but I don't know...
