Via Garibaldi 8 Posted March 17, 2017 Share #20076 Posted March 17, 2017 Anyone know if Queens bound 6th avenue express buses will be re-routed for the parade today? They're running via 6th Avenue, but good luck getting across east... If you don't have to come in don't, or come in around 6 when the parade is over.
Rafa Posted March 17, 2017 Share #20077 Posted March 17, 2017 to the drivers what you do here? https://www.facebook.com/IM2NYC/videos/1678248288867121/ If she had time to get in front of the bus then she wasn't at a bus stop when the bus went by so I wouldn't pick her up. Nope, I'm not opening my doors until someone from the Mta who will take responsibility off me say so. Plus I can just imagine her getting on the bus and making a scene. Nope, I wouldn't do it.
DaTransitMan4608 Posted March 17, 2017 Share #20078 Posted March 17, 2017 (edited) A few things. -5603 sounds musical. That may be GH's best D60HF. -There's an OG Hybrid on the Bx27. A GH Hybrid on the 36 and a QV (I think) LFS on the 36. -I saw 677 parked in WF lot so they may be refraining from using it due to the CNG issues. paulrivera Posted March 17, 2017 Share #20079 Posted March 17, 2017 Over the past few days I've noticed a lot of the 5th Avenue related service alerts have had a "BxM5" mentioned among the Bronx express buses. Even though I only used it once from Grand Concourse to Manhattan, i miss the BxM5 so badly. Apparently there's people among the MTA that think it still exists even though it was cut 7 years ago.

Last night they had this alert about buses being delayed in Riverdale due to snow being removed from 239th to 232nd. Well I didn't see any such thing. Snow removal was taking place further south by Kappock Street and Knolls Crescent.

No other bus from QV had been spotted yet.Edit: add 6883 to the list. Edited March 17, 2017 by ShadeJay

Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app 677 doesn't usually run during this time of the day. It usually does a few trips in the morning rush before heading back to the depot either to stay oos for the day or for driver training.
danielhg121 Posted March 17, 2017 Share #20083 Posted March 17, 2017 It mostly does driver training at this hour. I've seen them pull out of WF and pull in. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app

If that's the lot in JFK Airport, he could be in some deep doo-doo if the appropriate agency ( ? PANYNJ? FAA? DHS? FBI? CIA? idk) decides to pursue the case.

LegoBrickBreaker101 Posted March 18, 2017 Share #20090 Posted March 18, 2017 Most articulated routes are using 40-foot buses today. The Bronx is loaning some Jamaica LFS' and there's an RTS on the Bx1.

SubBus Posted March 18, 2017 Share #20092 Posted March 18, 2017 Most articulated routes are using 40-foot buses today. The Bronx is loaning some Jamaica LFS' and there's an RTS on the Bx1. Confirmed. Rode 4655 on the Q10LTD this morning. It's all 40 footers on the Q10 and Q111/113/114 today. I passed by JFK depot on the Q3 and all the artics are parked up. Who was the "transit enthusiast" on the Q3 this morning????

Missabassie Posted March 18, 2017 Share #20096 Posted March 18, 2017 The MTA must be scared to run too many attics.... Just spotted 3877 on the M101 [emoji58]

Just spotted 3877 on the M101 [emoji58] Its more of a precaution as we're supposed to get a mix of rain and snow later today. Also, there's a West Farms RTS on the Bx1 and M100 today.

It's not like we're getting two feet or any craziness.... they're being a little too cautious perhaps.
Future ENY OP Posted March 18, 2017 Share #20099 Posted March 18, 2017 Also XD40's on the B44SBS. and honestly that should of been the set up since it's inception. Artics on the B41/46.
trainfan22 Posted March 18, 2017 Share #20100 Posted March 18, 2017 Both variations of the M15 and Bx12 are using 40 Footers but for some reason the Bx5 is still using artics....
