-CT1660- Posted November 17, 2012 Share #151 Posted November 17, 2012 Anyone else care to guess what depots these 690 to 1390 buses will be going? Definitely the NYCT depots (if you exclude the MTA Bus depots) with the 1996 & 1997 year RTS's

Chargerdodge9 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Share #155 Posted November 17, 2012 You know, it will be a sad day when all these classic buses retire. I'm going to miss the Orion Vs mostly and the Novabus RTS's (and D60HFs and Pre-9/11 C40LFs)

East New York Posted November 19, 2012 Share #162 Posted November 19, 2012 Definitely the NYCT depots (if you exclude the MTA Bus depots) with the 1996 & 1997 year RTS's This order is for NYCT only. MTA bus may see 34 buses out of one of the options in the future. That's about all for now.
MHV9218 Posted November 19, 2012 Share #163 Posted November 19, 2012 You know, it will be a sad day when all these classic buses retire. I'm going to miss the Orion Vs mostly and the Novabus RTS's (and D60HFs and Pre-9/11 C40LFs) Can you stop calling them Pre-9/11 C40s? It's not like it was the beginning of of time, I don't refer to my life as pre-9/11 and post 9/11, I wasn't born pre-9/11, we're not living in the year 11 Post-9/11, 1 AD was not the start of the Pre-9/11 era. This is 2012. That was 2001. Those C40s in were built in 1998-2000, not the years 3-1 Pre-9/11. We have years to refer to them, or old C40s and new C40s will do just fine. XcelsiorBoii4883 Posted November 21, 2012 Share #167 Posted November 21, 2012 Question. Will these buses, whether its Xcelsiors or Novas, have every spec as the BT&E ones? Or are they allowed to change specs?
