At the Prevost Facility. They are waiting for details on where they should head to first. And yes, delivery is random.

The number 8 is associated with luck, especially in Chinese culture, because the word for "eight" in some Chinese dialects sounds similar to "fortune" or "prosperity" or other such words. (If you look at real estate listings in Northeast Queens, you'll see lots of 8s in some of the prices.)

No. It was sent there to which Queens depot need a unit in service.

Did somebody in the Dept. of Buses deliberately set up the assignment so that 666 would end up at JG (where it could serve as bad luck and increase chances of a CNG explosion at the depot)? 

Almost as bad as saying the 2015 XD40s need to stay at their depots so the numbers stay consecutive.

It's a bit ironic, as Orion V #666 was assigned to Stengel back in the day. (During it's final days, an op driving the unit commented to me on how well it ran). 

Been waiting for 8888 to show up. 8888 was formerly an RTS at Ulmer Park, I remember seeing it in the depot in 2011 or 2012 and was retired within the weeks after.
