pringle5095 Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14376 Posted December 4, 2016 After 9/11, the went from Jamaica Center to Bay Ridge 95th St as the longest local line in the system. Try and guess how many people liked it. I see what you're getting at. I guess it was approximately zero. paulrivera Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14377 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) Yep this weekend the and are running increased service for the holiday riders. Usually its the and that runs increased service during the holiday weekends but this weekend its the instead of the due to the Queens G.Os, The and are also running on a 6 minute supplement this weekend. So what are the frequencies? 8 minutes? Remember when 8 minute headways used to be the norm on the B division on the weekends? Daniel The Cool Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14378 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) So what are the frequencies? 8 minutes? 6-8 minutes. And the late night from 207 to Far Rockaway is actually the current longest local. Edited December 4, 2016 by Daniel The Cool
S78 via Hylan Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14379 Posted December 4, 2016 6-8 minutes. And the late night from 207 to Far Rockaway is actually the current longest local. I'm guessing the would have 6 minute intervals as it is already scheduled to run every eight minutes for most of the day.

pringle5095 Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14382 Posted December 4, 2016 There was one guy that is making custom transit announcements for the Subway on YouTube, apparently with sound files from the actual trains. How would you be able to do that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

paulrivera Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14384 Posted December 4, 2016 You just splice video. Yep. That's also how the themselves put the "Burnside Avenue bound" announcements together.
checkmatechamp13 Posted December 4, 2016 Share #14385 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) I took the to Broad Street yesterday. My group missed the first one, but the second one came in soon after. The thing was, after Fulton Street, the train was held in the tunnel to clear out the up ahead. I predict lots more trouble if Broad Street were both a terminal and through station since it has only 2 tracks. Wasn't that the case when the ran to South Brooklyn? (I thought we had a brown M bullet available if we typed in (Mx) ) Edited December 4, 2016 by checkmatechamp13
