E For Erica Posted October 9, 2013 Share #9403 Posted October 9, 2013 Does anyone have any pics/vids of the B60 when it was based out of ENY? Just asking...
S78 via Hylan Posted October 9, 2013 Share #9404 Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) On my way to school on Monday, I decided to walk from Sheepshead Bay Station since I had extra time before my first class. Once I turned on to Oriental Blvd, four B49s went past me all in the same direction. Edited October 9, 2013 by S78 via Hylan

Cait Sith Posted October 9, 2013 Share #9407 Posted October 9, 2013 Very nice ride quality on these. It's a tiny bit rough at times, but it's smooth. Takes off on a dime and it's VERY spacious!

The headroom did seem to be much lower than usual. But at least it's not like the former Designline hybrids we had. I'm short and I still cracked my head on the left sides which was much lower.

I guess it means you better get it while you can.

Grand Concourse Posted October 9, 2013 Share #9417 Posted October 9, 2013 If they intend on buying more of those BYD buses, it needs to have forward facing rear seats. Ride the B41 as much as I do during the rush hours and you'll understand. You have to shove your way towards the back. The back section would be better off with more seats and turning the front to 1x1 seating.
Calvin Posted October 9, 2013 Share #9418 Posted October 9, 2013 If a Far Rock away Driver has a JFK Old Gen, does it mean that JFK buses also park at Far Rock away or that a driver reports at JFK Depot?

E For Erica Posted October 10, 2013 Share #9425 Posted October 10, 2013 I remember when certain NovaBus RTS(s), Orion Vs and other models had sliver wheels. I kinda miss those. They were one of the things I used to tell whether a bus was a 1999 model or not before I started learning the numbers which was recently anyway (Even tho most GMC & TMC RTS(s) didn't have them and they weren't 1999 models) But I even caught a few rare GMC/TMCs with silver wheels. But anyway, why did they stop using them? Was it because they heated up too much in the sun?
