    • All I said was if people think the issues aren’t with themselves and rather with MTA, just speak up or try to man up. I never ill-advised anybody to let them take advantage of you. Like for instance, there are people finished with drug testing and some aren’t being directed to the right status, I just advised them to speak up if something feels weird. I don’t want to see anyone being mislead or not get a job with MTA because they are being screwed over. You want the job and will stay on the job? You fight to get it. You can’t get in trouble as long as you’re doing the right thing.
    • Not sure where you're getting at, but if u already have these issues with MTA, then u should just take your name off the list because if u accept this job, MTA will take control of your life if u really want the job. Your job becomes your priority. Ppl don't have the luxury of just leaving or not accepting a decent paying job with benefits. The Job market isn't doing well. Ppl have families and bills, so its not that they let MTA take advantage, it's that ppl can't afford to just leave. Nobody is going to take a risk of leaving a job and be uncertain of when they'll be able to find another decent paying job with benefits, paid vacation, paid sick, and alot of other benefits that the private sector doesn't offer. Theres always going to issues at these city/state jobs, it's not just MTA. U have to know how to weigh the good with the bad and decide what's more important to you. But if you already see issues you don't want to deal with, then I advise you to not even bother waiting to be called and tell DCAS to remove you, so someone else can move up into your spot. Because I can tell u this right now, the issues u see here isn't even the half of the issues u will deal with when you have the actual job. Anyone who has been working for MTA for years will tell u this.
    • From what I’ve seen throughout the entire forum, I can’t believe that there are people/candidates who are willing to just let MTA take advantage of them, tell them their stuff and then get you to believe it. sometimes ya’ll gotta man up otherwise when you get on the job, they still gonna be telling you lies and playing games
    • im not 100% sure but if you scroll up a bit theres a few folks here who got 1 in 3'd
    • That makes no sense. That should be done before going in for  the drug test.
    • I would have thought they’d do this before the drug test…
