If my math serves me correctly

Jamaica is suppose to lose 85 and gain an overall total of 92

(8090-8119 8399-8480) in

(All the 1996 Novas Retired)

(The Rest of the NGs to CS)

 

Am I correct

8090-8119 (30) & 8399-8480 (82) equals 112 Novas.

There are 66 96's and 72 98-99's (RTS).

Counting the 45 Novas they have, there will be 50 "spaces" to fill.

Yeah and SLIGHT change at that! Meanwhile, #2645-2647 are at Castleton...if it hasn't been reported already.

 

 

Also, does Meredith have trippers on the X10 during the midday? If not, then #2874 is at Castleton operating on the X10. I will admit, I saw it on BusTime which was why I asked the question.

yes, it does. The X10 (with X10B) is out of Castleton but during the weekday midday hours, some buses/runs are out of Meredith

QV Nova's will go to Jamaica instead.

 

Here's hoping QV gets all the 4800's as a consolation "prize"!

 

Beat me to it, I just got that information.

 

I just wonder if that means that the 5000s may actually get shafted out to QV when this is all said and done.

Just surprised that QV doesn't get new local buses.

It's like Fresh Pond, the newest buses they ever received are the Old Gens and Xcelsiors for the local fleet but Next Gens from CS (some of them) and Jamaica might be moved there with the LFS delivery and XD-40 order going on in Queens

Who said anything about the 4800s going back to QV? Af far as I know, QV is not getting their LFS and is not gonna change fleetwise. Leave the 4800's out of this. They are likely staying at their respective depots as 1. QV may need to refresh their memory of how they can operate the XDs and 2. Why give QV more models to operate? There is a reason the 3G orions and XDs were moved to SI and BK respectively. It makes more sense for QV to get more RTS than return the XDs to QV.
