I wouldn’t be surprised if the final OG retires out of JFK. BP might be the last depot, They only received 2 NG's so far but I think LGA and JFK are the main focus right now when it comes to replacing OG's.

Thought it would be easier to create one central list instead of looking thru many pages. The final end of the OGs really has begun, now is some final chances to get content of them in service en masse before they become harder to find. Wasn't 3562 the one that was converted to diesel?

Cait Sith Posted March 25, 2022 Share #5719 Posted March 25, 2022 Don't know if this has already been posted, but Castleton is no longer in the running for the new LFSs. Casey Stengel is getting 92, Queens Village is getting 57 and Jamaica is getting 60. It's now an all-Queens order.

Is Castleton content with the buses they have already?

RSMG106 Posted March 25, 2022 Share #5723 Posted March 25, 2022 (edited) If I'm not wrong, the assignments will be this (Subject to change): Jamaica (JA): 8755-8814 (60) (Directly displacing most of Jamaica's XD40s to other depots) Queens Village (QV): 8815-8871 (57) (Directly replacing all OGs, and either replacing or displacing some NGs to MTA Bus) Casey Stengel (CS): 8872-8963 (92) (Directly either replacing, or displacing 89 NGs to MTA Bus, plus 3 buses for fleet expansion) Edited March 25, 2022 by RSMG106

Some have said that Jamaica is losing their XD40’s but I feel like someone on here months ago said that their 2011 LFS’s would be sent somewhere else. I don’t normally believe rumors till things actually happen but I’m quite curious with this one. trainfan22 Posted March 25, 2022 Share #5725 Posted March 25, 2022 (edited) If those new LFS at Jamaica push out the XD40s... Seems like they will go to the various Brooklyn depots that already have XD40s AND Brooklyn has a new order of XD40s coming up (the one 7851 is apart of). Nice. I also wouldn't be surprised if that Jamaica batch of LFS pushes some of 2011 LFS to MTA Bus... MTA Bus is supposed to get new LFSs in the near future. Why not supplement those new buses with the older LFS? Edited March 25, 2022 by trainfan22
