Oh no..100 XE60s, that’s gonna be interesting in the Bx. And it seems like everything Pre-C40LF is going, so the original XD, LFS and Orion VII 3Gs are going, and this might wipe the NG order completely too.

As for the artics, seems like the 1200s and what seems to be the 4700s could be going, with a possibility of the early 57-5900s going as well. That, or just a fleet expansion (and probably new artic routes, maybe the B6 finally gets the call).

Don't forget about the b82sbs and the b15.

Well the 4700's,  1200's artics  which is 180 buses, 4800's, 7000 -7089 onions, and 8000-8089 which is 270 buses. Which all will have 12years by 2024.

Actually the 4700’s came in 2013, so they will be 12 years in 2025. The LFSA’s (5770-5986, 5252-5298, 5300-5363) came before them. They’ll be 12 years by 2024.

If those XE60’s come in, they’ll go to Quill before they go to the Bronx. Most likely Quill will give the Bronx their LFSA’s to replace the 1200’s.

For the artics, it would seem that the 1200’s and 5770-5986 would go first. The 4700’s came in 2013, so they have a while before they go.

MTA Acting Chair & CEO Janno Lieber, Interim NYCT President Craig Cipriano, and Acting SVP of NYCT Buses Frank Annicaro were joined at the Jamaica Depot by State Senator Leroy Comrie, Assembly Member Alicia Hyndman, and City Council Member I. Daneek Miller on Tue., December 14, 2021 to announce that construction on a new all-electric bus facility will commence next year, as part of the MTA’s commitment to a zero-emissions fleet.

I'm looking at NYCT as well and I see 345 artic buses + 1090 standard buses through 2024...the heck they tryna do retire all standard/articulated diesel buses built before 2014? Man...the 4800s have their replacements proposed already...felt like 5 years ago they just entered service.

So now looking at what Jamaica is aboutta become, im assuming that a good 60-70% of the electric standard order are going to Jamaica now. More than likely all XE40s as well.

Jamaica is going all-electric.

The Jamaica Bus Depot is going electric! 🚌

In 2022, we’re beginning construction to fully rebuild the depot from the ground up, transforming it into our first ever depot designed for a 100% all-electric bus fleet.

With an expected completion date of 2026, the depot will initially support a fleet of up to 60 zero-emissions buses. This is a key part of our plan to make our bus fleet all-electric by 2040.

So the entire depot is going electric?

Again, electric technology still isn’t there yet to be implemented on a heavy transit system like ours.

No. It's just going to be one of the depots that will have the technology and tools capable of using and maintaining electric buses.

7851 has returned back to FP Depot from the Vendor after being oos for a month.

The delays with this particular XD40 order is so annoying, with all the X series buses the TA ordered from NF prior to 7851 arriving why can't NF get this particular bus right, bus been a pliot since the summer and were almost in 2022 SMH.

With the talk of Jamaica getting rebuilt FINALLY does that mean that during construction they’re buses are going to Casey Stengel and Queens village depots and if so can the two depots handle more buses it’ll be interesting to see which routes go where

Those 4700 at UP seem to be in bad shape. So far the between and equal quality of 40ft & 60fts of XDs on the B1

Not only are the Proterras done, but the Port Authority will be purchasing those units as well. All 5 are currently in JFK Airport.

Because the Hybrids are the priority. The XDs aren't necessarily delayed because of whatever issues that's happened to it. There's a bunch of XDs already built, same for the Nova diesels. It's the Hybrids that are the priority right now.
