Daniel The Cool Posted March 30, 2016 Share #876 Posted March 30, 2016 trains are local in Brooklyn all weekend. Wouldn't that conflict? No because most times when the goes via West End either Both Directions or just northbound, the Shuttle would most times stop at 45th Street and 53rd Street both ways. It's been the practice for years and it has happened when there's no G.Os on 4th Avenue.

junion Posted April 21, 2016 Share #881 Posted April 21, 2016 Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 3.45.14 PM by spicker613, on Flickr Why would they send the shuttle buses back a stop. Most people are presumably taking the train to and from Manhattan. Buses to Sutter Av and Junius St would make more sense.
trainfan22 Posted April 21, 2016 Share #882 Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) Why would they send the shuttle buses back a stop. Most people are presumably taking the train to and from Manhattan. Buses to Sutter Av and Junius St would make more sense. Livonia Ave is cut off by the Bay Ridge branch... so the buses would have to go out of there way to reach Junius St... If the buses are Using Riverdale Av to Van Sicken to reach that station, then going to Van Stricken is quicker. Mysterious2train Posted April 21, 2016 Share #886 Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) World Trade Center-bound trains skip 23 St and Spring St Weekend, 11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, Apr 22 - 25 For service to these stations, take the to 14 St or Canal St and transfer to an uptown local, or . For service from these stations, take the or to W 4 St or 34 St and transfer to a World Trade Center-bound . Reminder: trains do not run overnight. Jamaica-bound trains run via the from 47-50 Sts to Roosevelt Av Weekend, 11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, Apr 22 - 25 trains run express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Av. No Jamaica-bound service at 57 St, Lexington Av/63 St, Roosevelt Island and 21 St-Queensbridge. ... I noticed the work in the 53rd St Tunnel originally planned for this weekend was cancelled, and these are happening instead. I'm guessing the outage at Lex Av-63 St was the main reason for the cancellation? If the reconstruction work at that station was finished already instead of limping along like it is now, these conflicts wouldn't be happening. It's disgraceful. Edit: quoting messed up, just ignore it. Edited April 21, 2016 by Mysterious2train

Skeletonized track in the area of Bergen St. necessitating a slow speed order which means fewer trains can get thru in the rush. When they say "selected" likely when the tower sees congestion on the board, she'll shoot an F up the express."
