Any news 2012 model Nova Bus LFS articulated bus #5817 will it still stay at Gun Hill Depot . #5817 still have West Farms Depot sticker decal or go to Kingsbridge depot. & where is 2000 D60HF new flyer #5268 , #5355 , #5358 . Will #5355 , #5268 , #5358. be retired, or renumber . I will miss 2000 D60HF new flyer #5268 , #5355 , #5358 if it be retired.

 

 

We don't know where 5817 will go, either KB or GH. Yes, those D60HFs will retired soon.

 

The remaining 5 1996 RTS Nova Bus left at 126 street depot , #8989 , #8990 , #9122 , #9216 , #9221. Will those remaining 5 1996 RTS Nova Bus left will they be scrapped or retire. There retirement came.

 

 

Either MTA Bus or retirement.

So this is why Quill is getting all those old D60s...their lowest numbered 2002-2003 D60 is now 5594, and that and 5599 are the only 5500s left. 5587 and 5592 are freshly transferred to Kingsbridge. 5595 and 5596 off to Gun Hill. I say good riddance, never liked Quill's 5500 series, those buses were beat to death. Some of the rehabbed ones I wouldn't mind keeping though!

Those hand me down 55xx's are like the best thing to happen at KB lol I much rather operate a 02-03 D60 any day...even over a Nova lol.

Please use proper english! How old are you? It's like your in 1st grade talking like this. As for 9206 & 9219 they will be retired when its time to, don't know what buses will replace 9206 & 9219. Only time will tell my friend!

With the way the MTA moves and scraps buses, I think I'd put my money on that being the most likely answer...

 

4630 back at Flatbush. Spotted this AM on the B46 LTD and on deadhead on Kings Hwy & Avenue H.

 

4278 is back at Yukon as well.

How do you know those buses will replace 9206 & 19? 4513 will go back to Grand Avenue when it's time to. We don't know when buses will be moved, its up to the MTA which changes their minds every single day.

Unless OS is loosing a route to MV, it makes zero sense for OS to loose 21 buses without the loss of runs or a full route and not get buses in return.
