It was fake. A railfanner broke into the operator cab and changed the rollsign and codes.

In reality it was an R46 (F)

An R46 (F) via the Bridge? (considering that there's a picture of it on the express track at Broadway-Lafayette)

Color me surprised...

I got an R68 (Q) train for the first time in my life. It was pretty uncomfortable and slow. It had the (orangeQ) rollsign on it. I think the R68s are more comfortable on Express trains than local trains.

I remember when these cars were relatively new. They were great. I remember riding them from South Brooklyn with a relative near to Propsect Park. By the time I was a teenager I started to hate them. They shake back and forth too much, and that ongoing buzzing noise from the PA system (I’m guessing) becomes annoying quick.

Meh. I don't mind the R68s. They bring back a lot of memories seeing them all the time on the (3) and (4).

Only on occasion I can see them on the (2), tho...

Speaking of those...Caught one on the (4) last weekend....Certainly felt like old times

Now, that is hilarious. Just get someone to drag the branch out of the rails :D

Hey! You can't just send anyone. There is a specific position for clearing out tree branches from local tracks—and another one for clearing tree branches from express tracks. Just what the union demanded for it's workers.
