paulrivera Posted December 17, 2016 Share #19277 Posted December 17, 2016 Well damn. I just looked at the Bx4/A. Two Buses are worth catching today (although both may end up on the other variant since they are the same route basically), 4924 and 6900 respectively. If that's the tip of the iceberg (see what I did there?), I can wait to see other routes.Just saw 4660 on the select 12 too. I think there's just one artic (5795) out ATM...

Cait Sith Posted December 17, 2016 Share #19279 Posted December 17, 2016 (edited) I love how most artic routes are using standards, except for Quill, who is putting their LFSAs and D60s out on the streets. No hills for them to climb. Every other artic route has hills to some degree. Edited December 17, 2016 by Cait Sith
danielhg121 Posted December 17, 2016 Share #19280 Posted December 17, 2016 Well, the artics are slowly being let back on artic routes, some on the Bx1/2, B44, most are on the Bx9 but none on the Q44 Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
paulrivera Posted December 17, 2016 Share #19281 Posted December 17, 2016 (edited) Well, the artics are slowly being let back on artic routes, some on the Bx1/2, B44, most are on the Bx9 but none on the Q44 Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app There's an artic on the Q10 now too. Oh boy, there's an RTS on the M60 SBS. That poor driver, I hope they still get paid that artic differential (i don't know what they call it exactly) today. MikeC Posted December 18, 2016 Share #19284 Posted December 18, 2016 3563 is back in service on the Q41, so I guess it's not finished?
S78 via Hylan Posted December 18, 2016 Share #19285 Posted December 18, 2016 (edited) 3563 is back in service on the Q41, so I guess it's not finished? It never was. I think it just had it's engine swapped. Most assumed it was done because of the fact that it was sitting in EC. danielhg121 Posted December 18, 2016 Share #19286 Posted December 18, 2016 There was a rumor that it had its farebox removed and most of the time that means its going to be scrapped. Actually, I agree with you "Q43LTD"...this is very funny. Interesting BUT funny. Imagine if some of these routes were actually in service. Could that be a good thing...or a bad thing? BM5 via Woodhaven Posted December 19, 2016 Share #19293 Posted December 19, 2016 Lol, Q70 to Penn would instantly kill reliability on that route.

I was looking at them, are some of these codes really in the system like the B102, Q86 and etc? They seem made up in my opinion.
Far rockaway Posted December 20, 2016 Share #19295 Posted December 20, 2016 Wow! The 1996 RTS buses are still here running good. We are at the end of 2016 going into 2017. It looks like they will still be here next year. What an accomplishment. They made it this far. Good for these buses. My thoughts!!

Well the Q86 according to this is what the current Q36 to Little Neck is. Also it reminded me why isn't the Q16 labeled as Q16A/B.
Q43LTD Posted December 20, 2016 Share #19298 Posted December 20, 2016 Lol, Q70 to Penn would instantly kill reliability on that route. Of course, like that Q68 LTD from Flushing to Midtown. I don't think ECH could handle anymore local routes. Some of them aren't bad tho I was looking at them, are some of these codes really in the system like the B102, Q86 and etc? They seem made up in my opinion. Nope. Some are made up. Just like that "new" Williamsburg" depot in BC
S78 via Hylan Posted December 20, 2016 Share #19299 Posted December 20, 2016 Aside from the Q53 returning to LG, are there any routes planned to move to any other depots for the winter pick?
Calvin Posted December 20, 2016 Share #19300 Posted December 20, 2016 Aside from the Q53 returning to LG, are there any routes planned to move to any other depots for the winter pick? not much. The Q19 and Q23 to CP. The M55: wait till January 8, 2017.
