I'm seeing nothing on the MTA's website about this (and this is one of those things people need to know about in advance).

I seriously doubt that's going to happen.

Just because it's not on the MTA's website, doesn't mean it's not going to happen...people should know this by now. Also, not everyone checks the MTA website. The signs are literally inside of the buses.

I was just going to say something along the lines of this.... I don't rely on the MTA site for anything really; hell, I barely go on it (for several reasons)......

The BM3 routing change in Sheepshead & that BM1 change in Mill Basin (whatever years those were) I don't remember being on the MTA website either.... I ended up finding out about both of those changes off flyers posted inside the buses themselves.....

If you use trip planner, the Q114 no longer shows up as an option from the 147 Avenue stops (starting from 6/30).

IMO this is a terrible move. There are people who use it along 147th Avenue. The only reason I believe this is happening is because the Q113 buses are so unreliable and MIA, causing the Q114 buses to be severely behind schedule because its dealing with two loads of bus riders. I've been on 114s that took two hours from Jamaica to Far Rockaway because of that.

TWO hours.... Just think about that for a second... Really shows you where our transportation system is.

I believe @NY1635's theory to be the main reason.... I remember reading rumors of having the (pre-2014) Q113 taken off Snake rd. due to all the flooding issues....

I also believe something is to come of 113/114 service; some type of frequency change or something another, to either (or both) of those routes... I don't think this move has to do with route performance.... That part of Rockaway blvd. isn't exactly a picnic, in terms of traffic....

What does that even say? It's nowhere near clear enough to read (aside from the text at or near the top).

Bus stops along 14 St now show the SBS pattern by the M14A/D with vehicles not allowed on 14 Street.

Also, the M35 joins the SBS fleet

Same for the change in Q37 service.

1063 is currently doing a run on the Bx39 to Clason Point for...reasons. Looks like a huge gap in service.

EDIT: its back on the Bx36

Some teenage girl on the S79 SBS (bus 4263) was allegedly hitting people on the bus, and in one altercation (after getting off the bus), she started punching and kicking windows, and shattered one of the windows on the front door of the bus. Bus was taken out at Ebbits Street.

*Also, was Yukon sending LFS 8252-8258 to Castleton b/c of rincrease in ridership on the local routes?

Sounds like normal S79 service.

Any mechanics or drivers in the house? I want an insider's opinion toward the Orion 7 Old gens. Everyone knows that the RTS are awesome, and its legacy is sealed. But I want to know how people internally feel about these buses. Are they reliable? Great to drive? And overall good buses? I'd like to know more about the Hybrids because the CNGs have been gone.

BTW here's the damage to 4263. It's relatively minor, but it was still necessary to be taken OOS.

Recent Gun Hill transfer to Flatbush bus 4068 also now sports a Bronx Zoo driverside wrap. Along with 4066, 4067, 4410.

I believe the most recent transfers from Kingsbridge to MV also have the Bronx Zoo wrap.

Bet this teenager girl didn't pay the fare either.

Hopefully she got arrested and has to pay for the damages.

She didn't. She left after she shattered the window. Since the bus doesn't have cameras, there's not much that can be done.

Hopefully the new buses fix that issue since they have cameras. I'm pretty sure all buses have cameras (at least on the inside), otherwise, that's not safe.
