I am the one who posted the break down on facebook. The 375 40 Foot buses for NYCT will be electric.

Do you know if the next 10 test buses are gonna go through a similar program like 11-20 or they are just gonna basically be buses tested for a couple months like the original 22/23?

They will go through the same testing as 11-20.  22 and 23 were pilot buses for the actual production orders and were more for evaluation to make sure the order specifications were met versus performance testing like 11-20.

Hopefully the 5 test transit buses are Novas and not BYD's.

I don’t think BYDs are not going to be in this order for electrics. New Flyers and Novas have dominated the scenes as of late. The 1,729 buses will replace: the remaining Orion VII NXG & the Orion 3Gs, the 1200/5700/5800 Novas which are 10-13 years old now.

To the driver's here is there a route that it's built to where you have to leave late to be on time and if you leave on time you will be early?

That can be any route if they give you too much time to do the trip or if the traffic conditions are light.

Kind has something to do with the post my driver friend got scolded by a passenger cause he didn't leave on time (the route where I live at and my friend drives is styled like leave on time your early or leave late your on time ).

Gun Hill and Kingsbridge have both received more LFS HEVs than their allotment calls for. It seems like this may negatively affect Manhattanville as a result.

We have to wait and see for this. If Gun Hill and Kingsbridge has Manhattanville's assigned LFS HEVs, and that they are waiting for their assigned units (9640-9664 and 9891-9910 respectively), then it will take a while for the MV assigned units to return back. This has to do with the accelerated progress of retiring, or transferring the NGs to MTA Bus. Otherwise, it may change later on.

I'll refresh this every week or so, or if someone else contributes and updates this that would be great (still would like to create a list of what remaining OGs are in service). Thought it would be easier to create one central list instead of looking thru many pages.

The final end of the OGs really has begun, now is some final chances to get content of them in service en masse before they become harder to find.

3551 & 3553 are still in service at LaGuardia. Also, the list on the scrap thread got updated recently so its best to check there for the listing of scrapped units.

Time flies, I remember when the Orion VII’s were brand new and I remember being so intrigued by them because I was used to loud RTS and Orion buses some of which would spit out black soot from the exhaust. I wouldn’t be surprised if the final OG retires out of JFK.
